Sea Breeze

I miss your hugs. I miss your kisses.
I miss your chocolate, and Christmas wishes.

I miss walking beside you, picking up sea shells.
I remember what you taught me very very well.

I know you, Dad, you love the sea.
I love there too as you know me.

But why that early, you had to go.
Why couldn't you stay, Dad? I don't really know.

Now that you are a part of the sea,
you are still as beautiful as you always be.

Now when I hear the breeze, I think of you.
I wish you could hear me, Dad...I am missing you.

Sunshine

You named me the Sun, while you are the Sun's light.
You brightened up the way, and were my guide.

You taught me things no-one could ever teach.
You showed me the rainbows and how they were neat.

But now it's dark as it comes to twilight.
The Sun's still here, but there's no light.

I want to outshine again, like we used to do,
but how could I, Dad? in the world without you.
